| Recognised by the Department of Education and Science in Ireland Holywell is a unique type of language centre. English is taught at various levels and combined with cultural and leisure activities in unusual surroundings. The entire operation includes the Language Centre and a Guesthouse situated in over 40 acres of land at the foot of the Burren hills with scenic views across Galway Bay. The school's name Holywell is based on the wells near the Centre. The water in these wells is drawn from caves underground and according to Irish legend has magical powers. Today these waters are still considered to be healthy and this unique combination of learning, well-being and relaxation makes Holywell a truly special kind of Language Centre.
The Centre is open from beginning of March to end of September.
