This course caters for business people who need to quickly improve their English language skills in a range of professional business situations. The language is presented through contexts and topics which are directly relevant to the adult professional learner, and grammar structures are covered as they arise in the context of the functional language being taught. The following everyday business functions are covered: meetings, making presentations, negotiating, telephoning, describing trends, making arrangements, English for social situations, writing business correspondence. Other skills areas are also covered on request, such as Medicine, Science, Technology, Diplomacy and International Relations, Air Traffic Control, Engineering, Aviation, Architecture, Law, Psychology, Policing, Agriculture and Computers.
